Rhythmic gymnastics - as a rule, this is the first association that arises in the head when it comes to women's sports.
It is part of the Olympic program and has been attracting viewers from all over the world to the screens for almost 40 years. This is the most elegant, aesthetic and one of the most spectacular women's sports, which is the performance of complex, but very beautiful gymnastic and choreographic elements to music. Alina Kabaeva, Irina Chashchina, Leysan Utyasheva, Evgenia Kanaeva - successful athletes enjoy such popular love that after completing their sports careers they build no less stellar careers on television or even in politics.
Gymnasts should have good flexibility, stretching, high thrust, slim figure and good coordination of movements. But the girl does not have to have these qualities when entering the section - they are all acquired over time through regular training under the supervision of a good coach.
Exercises can be performed both with the use of objects (hoop, ball, skipping rope, ribbon, clubs) and without it. But in high-level competitions, the use of items is mandatory.
The benefits of rhythmic gymnastics:
✔ Strengthens the immune system;
✔ increases the endurance of the body;
✔ has a positive effect on the cardiovascular, nervous and respiratory systems;
✔ trains the vestibular apparatus, develops dexterity, speed and accuracy of reaction;
✔ works out all muscle groups, strengthens the muscular corset;
✔ plays a huge role in character formation. Efficiency, independence, responsibility, discipline, sociability, purposefulness, the ability to present yourself – this is only a small part of what gymnastics can give for the formation of personality;
✔ develops a sense of rhythm, musicality and artistry.
One of the most important advantages of rhythmic gymnastics is that it does not spoil the figure of girls, unlike many other women's sports. If the main sign of swimmers is a broad, almost masculine back and shoulders, and athletes have relief pumped legs, then gymnastics, on the contrary, contributes to the harmonious development of the girl's body, the formation of correct posture, graceful gait and a slender feminine figure. Only a natural beautiful silhouette of the body without imbalance and pumped zones.
Like any other sports, rhythmic gymnastics classes have a number of contraindications:
✔ diseases of the musculoskeletal system (especially the cervical-collar zone);
✔ diabetes mellitus;
✔ diseases of the cardiovascular system;
✔ nervous disorders.
Before you start practicing rhythmic gymnastics, you need to undergo an in-depth medical examination and get admission to classes from a sports doctor.
For children who have contraindications, the AURA OF VICTORIES Academy of Sports and Dance has a separate rehabilitation area, where classes are held taking into account the individual characteristics of each child.
We invite girls from 3 to 6 years old to join sports and wellness groups.
